Loving Summer at Love Lane Kitchen!

Love Lane Kitchen

I have always known that food is powerful, and wine for that matter, and love, and coffee. It can be intoxicating, the whole experience of it. The colors of fresh fruit and veggies, the smell of roasting garlic or fresh muddled mint, the sounds of a hot pan hit with a little wine, forks hitting plates, ice in a cocktail shaker – there is this palatable energy to the whole process that can feed you before you even take one single bite.

Then you add this whole element of gratitude from sourcing things locally from North Forkers who you know, work with and respect. THEN you serve it with love and hospitality and share it with all sorts of different people. That’s when it all comes together to create something really incredible. So thank you!

Thank you for being as passionate about what you eat and drink as we are. We love what we do and we do what we love, and we are so ready for Summer 2015!

See you on the Lane,

Carolyn

THE DEAL WITH RESERVATIONS

We only accept reservations for Dinner, not for Breakfast or Lunch. We have a pretty cool system, though, if you do come for breakfast and lunch and there is a wait:
We will tell you how long the wait will be for your party (we have gotten pretty darn good at that, if I say so myself!) take your name and number and can text you when your table is ready. A lot of folks take the time to check out quaint Love Lane’s shops like Roanoke’s wine tasting room across the street, Mint Boutique, Love Lane Sweet Shoppe, The Village Cheese shop, Altman’s Needle and Fiber Arts, Lombardi’s Market, Bauer’s Gift Shop, Love Lane Toys, oh my goodness there are so many cool places and friendly faces! Or, hangout at our colorful lounge and have a drink! Relax, wind down- you’re on the North Fork now, and Life is Good!

SANDWICH PLATTERS &
SALADS FOR EVERYONE

What do you do when you have too many friends? Call us! We’ll feed them!

Our amazing sandwich platters and our most popular salads are made fresh to go for groups of 8-20 people. Tell us what you want, for how many people and when you need them and viola, instant party! We’ll even supply you with plates, plastic ware and serving utensils. We usually have a few extra friends around, too, if you need those.  Check it all out

Doing the Vineyard thing?

Tip: Over the years many of the vineyards require an appointment for large groups and/or outside food. Just be sure to call ahead and make the appropriate arrangements. We recommend Pellegrini Vineyards, Osprey’s Dominion, Pugliese Vineyard, and Bedell Cellars. Please don’t embarrass us. Just kidding. But really- be respectful and responsible, clean up any plates, napkins, etc. And enjoy this beautiful place we call home!
